Starter Bikes is a student organization providing members of the Georgia Tech community free access to tools to repair their bikes and guidance from trained volunteers. Starter Bikes will announce information regarding bike sales via the Starter BikesFacebook page.
Repairs & Maintenance
Starter Bikes is open from 4-7pm in the CRC Parking Deck. Please follow them on Facebook for updates or changes to hours.
Buy a Bike
Starter Bikes sells used bikes to the Georgia Tech community; all bikes must pass the ABC Quick Test prior to being purchased. If a bike requires maintenance, students are taught how to make necessary repairs by Starter Bikes volunteers.
Starter Bikes relies upon curious and passionate student volunteers to keep campus rolling. Interested in volunteering? Talk to a Starter Bikes officer.
Bike Repairs at the Community Market
Aztec Cycles mobile repair shop is at the Community Market each Wednesday (weather permitting) from 10am-2pm. The Community Market is located on the paths near the Exhibition Hall.
Registering your bike will allow you to be contacted if your bike is stolen and recovered. Upon registering, you will be provided a decal for your bike, which should be mounted on your bike's seat tube or down tube (see diagram) and may act as a theft deterrent, as thieves know that the bike can be traced.
